5 minute sketches
I’ve decided I need to get better at quick, gestural sketches.
In his amazing two volume set ‘Drawn to Life’ the Disney animator Walt Stanchfield advises to ‘draw verbs, not nouns’.
He also says ‘we all have 10,000 bad drawings in us so the sooner you get them out the better’.
These drawings are timed, 5 minute sketches based on the images at lovecastle.org. Too many images of naked girls holding weapons, but apart from that a pretty good resource. nsfw.
